ThemeThe story begins with a whaler leaving New Bedford heading to sea, meeting ships homeward bound, scenes of the Azores and Cape Verde, the coast of South America, round Cape Horn toward the Pacific Islands with scenes of lowering boats, taking whales, cutting in and all aspects of the whaling voyage.
