Opportunity: IPC Secretary-General Position Opening

IPC is looking for a dedicated member of the panorama community to fill the important role of Secretary-General.

Position: Secretary-General

Begins: January 1, 2019

Honorarium: 8,000 Euros + Conference Travel Expenses (flight, hotel and travel incidentals)

Under the leadership of the Executive Board, the Secretary-General’s primary responsibilities are to coordinate the annual IPC conferences, act as the liaison between IPC and its conference host organizations, and to be the main point of contact for conference participants and IPC members.

Additional duties include:
1. Maintain membership files and contact lists;
2. Manage finances in conjunction with IPC’s Treasurer;
3. Promotes the identity of the organization and its offerings through IPC’s newsletter, mailings, social media initiatives, and day-to-day correspondences;
4. Records IPC Executive Board meeting minutes.

The Secretary-General takes part in the meetings of the Executive Board without right to vote. In day-to-day matters, the Secretary-General reports directly to IPC’s President.
