New publication on Paper Peepshows scheduled for April 2015

Since 1999 London IPC member, Ralph Hyde, has been ataloguing the Jacqueline and Jonathan Gestetner Collection of paper peepshows, panoramas, dioramas, myrioramas, toy theatres, transparencies, fans, board games, etc. His labours are now bearing fruit. In April 2015 a volume devoted to paper peepshows is scheduled which will consist of a history of the genre followed by a thorough catalogue of the 360 peepshows in the Gestetner Collection. The collection's scope is international. The publishers are Antique Collectors' Club, Sandy Lane, Old Marlesham, Woodbridge IP12 4SD, UK. Further volumes dealing with other topics represented in the collection are scheduled.
