Melissa Wolfe, IPC Member and head curator of American art at the Saint Louis Art Museum in Missouri (USA), recently opened the encyclopedic exhibition Art Along the Rivers: A Bicentennial Celebration.
Th exhibition "explores the abundant artistic legacies from the region's diverse histories of habitation and settlement over nearly a millenium." It opens with a wall-sized panoramic enlargement of Frederick Oakes Sylvester's 1903 painting The Mississippi at Elsah and features works by IPC Member Nicholas Lowe.
