UNESCO Recognition Project - Panorama as Memory of the World

The IPC appointed a commission in 2023 to carry out an application for inscription of the panoramas (as a media art form) to the UNESCO program Memory of the World in 2023. Some of you already answered an initial survey in 2024 and one day of the 33rd IPC conference was dedicated to the topic. Details about the commission, its mission, and the timeline (2023-2028) can be found online on the IPC’s commission webpage. The Scientific Committee of the Commission prepared a list of criteria for eligibility to take part in the project and an ideal list of panoramas to be included in the application.
