Upcoming encounter of IPC Members in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A., January 23rd, 2016

The International Panorama Council would like to inform you of an upcoming encounter of IPC Members in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A.

IPC Member Sue Truman has arranged a tour of panoramic activity in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday January 23rd,  2016. The highlight of the tour is a performance of Georama, a musical about the life and times of John Banvard whose Moving Panorama of the Mississippi River was lost to the ages. 

SCHEDULE:

11:00 am: St. Louis Art Museum – See the Panorama of the Monumental Grandeur of the Mississippi River, painted in 1850. Listen to a talk by Melissa Wolfe, Curator of American Art.

12:00 pm: Lunch at the Panorama Restaurant

4:00 pm: Georama – a musical about the life and times of John Banvard. At Emerson Studio Theatre at The Loretto­ Hilton Center for the Performing Arts in Webster Groves, Missouri. The crew has painted a 500' long moving panorama. IPC members will also have backstage access after the performance.

7:00 pm: Dinner (Details TBA)
