Historical references | The museums collection enlists a diorama of the storm on the tuileries in Paris during the french revolution. This diorama used to be presented in an earlier museum located in the same building. In the last years it had been presented once only in the Museum of History of Lucerne during a temporary exhibition in 1993 and for a few days presentation at Lucerne's Kunsthalle in 2015. IN early 2017 the painting was photographed and re-rolled for storage. |
